After much debate….OTKB is climbing, hotter and more sultry

December 17th, 2011

We fell in love with Julia Roberts wearing not much more that these over the knee boots (OTKB), but we know one thing and they are here to stay for 2011/2012 season.  One tip:  although Julia Roberts looked amazing in them please remember it was just a movie.  Ladies, please stick with the ever so soft leather, no patent on these.  Unless these fun sticks will be used in the bedroom 🙂

I suggest if you have smaller calves to go with a side zipper and for fuller calves, a slip on boot is best.

Cowboy Up!

December 13th, 2011

Trend for Fall 2011 is the sexy for southwesterners.  Bright reds and blues are the new style, add a black or white tank or tee and drape a roughed up leather bag to any one of these styles and ride off in to the sunset.

Colored denim

December 13th, 2011

Yes, Colored denim by Not your daughters Jeans shown here is fun, flirty and the perfect usage of color for this season.  The more color the better but keep the dosage down, pop the color in one outfit at a time, not all at once.

Add a pop of color

December 6th, 2011

This is not the season to shy away from color.  With this new BCBG Milano Leather Crocodile Effect satchel adds a pop of color that is a necessity for all wardrobes.

Reese’s Pieces all wrapped up..

December 5th, 2011

Reese’s style is always on.  Pictured here is a Chann Luu grey scarf and other celebrities show of love for the Chan Luu.

For fuller figures you may want to not wrap the bulk of the scarf right at your neck, this will add to your fuller figure.  Draping it once around your neck and letting it flow creates a longer, taller look.

Add a pop of jewels to under your collar

December 5th, 2011

So chic, refine your look by adding a jeweled necklace under your collar.

Color blocking: Pink and Red are my Signature Colors

November 22nd, 2011

Color blocking is different and cool.  You will be sure to stand out because not too many of you will brave the walking Valentine’s Day card, but if you do, it can be very sexy.

Color block with a Chelsea Flower Pink Kimono Blouse and red pants or any which way you like paired with nude or very neutral shoes.  Aldo makes some really nice Nude Pumps that are easy on the pocketbook 🙂

White Tuxedo Blazer

October 28th, 2011

The stars are all about the white blazer this season.  Asos Tuxedo Blazer is my favorite.  This specific style comes standard in petite sizes, but they have a plethora of choices to fall in love with.  For all winning styles from Asos click here.

This look is so simplistic and easy for career to strut right on into the night.  Pair with a small wrist clutch, the white will be bold and you will have accessory jealousy between the blazer and your pocketbook.
